Kade's 6th birthday party

We had Kade's birthday party the Saturday before his actual birthday.  Although he had stayed home the two days before that sick from school he was well enough to have a party, but still didn't seem to have every ounce of his energy back, but he did well overall. 
It was by far the least stressful party I have ever thrown and it turned out so good.  We did a water themed party this year and Jared and I got water guns and filled up lots and lots of water balloons.  The kids seemed to have a blast and Kade thought the theme was pretty sweet, so that made me content to see him happy.  We love our boy and we are so proud of you.  Now stop growing.

Kade turns 6

Kade has officially turned 6 years old today.  He is the most loving and compassionate little boy and the best big brother to his sisters.  Many people say that their kids are wonderful and really good big brothers or big sisters, but Kade really is.  HAHA! He is my little lover and I am eternally grateful for his loving and kind presence in our home.  I don't know what I would do without him.  He is only 6 years old and he gives me peace and security when I need it the most.  I love him more than I could ever describe.  He is the sweetest little boy I have ever come in contact with. He is smart and a fast learner. 
Kade is just about done with Kindergarten and has done such a wonderful job.  I could not boast about him any more.  He is reading so well, has mastered riding his bike this spring, wrapped up basketball in the fall, and is now back in baseball.  He is a little monster again this year, but we had to get him a size up in pants this season because he grows so fast.  He can out eat me any day.  He has a little girl crush already, but nothing that he takes it to extremes with.  He mostly loves hanging out with Griffin, Satarus, Nash, and Lane.  Those are his buddies and he shares a class with them.  We have some fun plans for him this summer, but mostly we will be busy with baseball and riding our new Razor. 
I love my little man and getting pregnant with him was one of the best things that has ever happened to me.  He loves his mama and I love him.  I can't kiss or hug him enough.  I love you Kadders.

She's here!!!

Well we had our beautiful Haven Marcella.  She was born on July 23rd at 9:47am. She weighed 8 lbs 3 oz. And was 20.25 in. Long. She is perfect.  She came out with a little blister on her arm from sucking in the womb and she's our hairiest baby yet.  She had swallowed some meconium and needed some oxygen at first so I was only able to see her for a short period and then Jared went back to the nursery with her so they could suck out the meconium with a tube they had to stick down her throat.  I'm so glad I didn't see that part. It had been over an hour and I started to get ancy because I wanted to nurse her.  In the meantime I answered back text messages of everyone that had been anxiously waiting.  The birth was about the same as Kade and Taylor, however the pushing was more difficult.   Her arm came out with her head so that made me push longer.   Luckily I had Dr.  Baca again and she helped me thru it. It was also nice that it was just Jared and I in the room and got to share that moment together. It was very beautiful.  Felt like a movie to be honest.

After I had her I kept saying I was so glad it was over and that she was finally here.   I'm proud of Jared and I for creating another baby together with of course the help of God.  We are so grateful to have 3 beautiful children and look forward to raising them and seeing what they each become.

I'm so in love.

Kade turned 5!!

My big boy is now 5.  I seriously can't believe it.  I know one day I will be saying he is 18 and I really won't be able to even believe that.  Life goes by so fast, especially when your having fun.  This year Kade had the choice to do a bowling party.  It was really nice because I didn't have to do much preparing and cleaning up.  I always throw myself into a frenzy trying to make everything perfect.  In fact at his last year's birthday party I went and hid in my closet at one point and started sobbing.  Thank goodness I had my best friend Megan there to calm me down.  I am slowly learning to not stress myself out.  All that ultimately matters is that Kade has a wonderful time being with his friends, has a cake to eat, and some gifts to open.  I originally wanted to make it very small, but who am I fooling, we have a big family and nothing is ever going to be small.  And, I am perfectly ok with that.  Everyone that I invited came and I think Kade felt the love.  That evening we let him have his cousin and one friend spend the night too.  Jared did an amazing job at keeping those boys entertained while I went to Bunco with some friends and we let them stay up past 11 playing the Wii.  I think all in all it was a good day for our son.  We had to do his party the day before his actual birthday because one it was a Saturday and two his actual birthday was on Sunday (Mother's Day) and we had some things planned already for that day.  I was very honored to have shared Mother's day with my son. 

Kade is such a special soul and we love him more than words could ever express.

He is thriving at school and sports and we seriously could not be any more proud of him. 

We love him so very much.  He is who made me a mother and he will always be our only baby boy.  Kade, when you read this one day, just know that mom and dad will and can never put into any words the happiness and joy you brought into our lives the day we found out you existed.  We love his contagious smile and laugh and the feeling we get every single time we see him.  We look forward to everything with him and we are very excited for his new venture in starting school.  We love you Kade Anthony!!!!!!!

 

 I didn't get any amount of pictures I should have because I was too busy visiting with everyone and thanking everyone for coming.  I feel terrible.  It was a successful birthday though.  ;)
