Kade is 4

(May 12th)
Our Kadders turned 4!!  I can't even believe he is already 4.  That means he starts kindergarten in 1 year.  It seriously trips me out.  I can remember clear as day him being a newborn.  It's totally insane to me how fast time goes by and people grow and change so much in that time.  I will never wrap my head around it and you may hear me say it many more times in my lifetime.  I just can't believe it.
I tossed back and forth the idea what to do for his party and originally I was going to do bowling, but for some dumb reason I tossed that out the window.  I guess I felt by putting something on at the house would mean  more of an effort (he is worth all the effort), but I will be honest I stressed myself out with all the tiny details and ideas I had.  I don't think I will do that again.  I'm grateful to those who helped me get things together though because I couldn't have done the party with all the other things I had going at the same time without the help.  Next year we can do the bowling thing.

Kade wanted a dinosaur themed party this year so that is what I did.  He loves dinosaurs and knows most of the names.  (It's very humbling to have your 4 year old teach you a lesson once in a while).  We had a gathering at the house for Kade with some great friends and our close family.  We missed those that couldn't be there.
Earlier before the party Jared and I let Kade open one of his presents, which happened to be a new scooter with light up wheels.  Let's just say he mentioned it was his favorite more than once and wouldn't put it down.  He was so happy.  I'm glad he had a great day.  I made sure he felt extra special that day.  WE love him so much and we couldn't ask or even imagine a better kid.
I hope Kade has another wonderful year and the only wish I have for Kade is for him to always know he is loved unconditionally and that Jared and I are always there as parents no matter what opportunities he faces in life.  We will always support our boy!

For the party we had pizza, pasta salad, salad, dinosaur cupcakes, and dirt with worms for the kids that were allergic.  (Most kids had both :))

Tid bits on Kade
Rides his scooter all over the house from room to room even to go and grab something
Very good eater and is seriously growing like a weed
ROAR's as loud as he can when playing with his dinosaurs tons of times throughout the day
He is such a sweet heart to babies
Loves to watch Max and Ruby and I love hearing his giggle throughout the house when he does
He cannot wait to go swimming or start sports
Always tells us how much he loves the food at the Country Club each time we go there to eat
Sings "I love you, I do" all the time to me
Always wants a snack at the worst time at night, right before bed and I never have the heart to tell him no
Loves wrestling with Dad in the living room
Has crazy obsession lately with Ringpops
Every time he says something that is intelligent, he finishes with "I'm smart huh mom".  LOVE
Never ever lets me leave the house without kissing and hugging him goodbye
Reminds Jared or I to buckle our seatbelts as if he is the parent
Is finally getting the hang of asking Taylor nicely for things rather than snatching them out of her hand or yelling
Loves his cousin Jack and his Bestie Kennedy
Asks for a bath every night so he can play with his dino's
He loves our new camper and the fact that he gets the top bunk and knows how to climb the ladder
Counts to 15 in Spanish
Can say almost all of his ABC's in Spanish
Hates for me to brush his teeth, but he is always a good sport
When he gets mad, he stomps and tells us "I'm mad"
When he gets woken up from his naps he is super grumpy just like me
These are some things that stand out to me off the top of my head.  We love you Kade!!!
Cheers to being 4 baby!
